As a continuing commitment in uplifting the industry through product innovation and technological advancement, the Filipino-Chinese Bakery Association (FCBA) will once again be staging a grand exhibition for the bakery industry dubbed: “BAKERY FAIR 2005” - the 3rd International Exhibition on Bakery & Confectionery Products, Food Service, Catering Supplies & Equipment to be held on February 18 - 20, 2005 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.

Bakery Fair 2005 aims to bring together FCBAI bakery-members, allied members and other suppliers under one roof in the hope of forging stronger ties not only among the FCBAI members but also to prospective members as well as the consumers.

As event highlights, the 3-day BAKERY FAIR will also feature product demonstrations and seminars on flour analysis and other relevant issues affecting the bakery industry plus the regular baking lectures and workshops.

A Wedding Cake Competition, an Artistic Bread Baking Contest and a Chocolate Cake Baking Competition will also be expected on February 18-20, 2005.

A 2-week long Advance Training Seminar for Master Bakers prior to the exhibition will also be conducted as part of the event by the US Wheat Associates, while a 5-day course will also be given by the American Institute of Baking after the said event to be sponsored by the Filipino-Chinese Bakery Association, Inc. in cooperation with the US Embassy Agricultural Trade Office.

The available information of this significant event would create awareness in the baking industry toward bakery products’ quality improvements, production efficiencies and cost savings that would eventually boil down for better profitability in the baking business and still making it a lucrative one.

Bakery Fair 2005 is open to all businessmen and trade visitors.
