FERNA COLORED PUTO CHEESE


Ingredients Quantity
All purpose flour 2 cups
Fresh milk 1 ½ cups
FERNA BAKING POWDER 1 tbsp. + 1 ½ tsps.
White Sugar ½ cup
FERNA IODIZED SALT ¼ tsp.
FERNA PRIMERA ORANGE POWDER COLOR 1/ 16 tsp.
Cheese As desired  
FERNA BUTTINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE, for brushing  

Other FERNA PRIMERA POWDER COLOR options:
FERNA PRIMERA VIOLET UBE POWDER COLOR
FERNA PRIMERA EGG YELLOW POWDER COLOR
FERNA PRIMERA APPLE GREEN POWDER COLOR
FERNA PRIMERA STRAWBERRY RED COLOR

PROCEDURE
1. Combine sugar, all-purpose flour, FERNA BAKING POWDER and FERNA IODIZED SALT. Dissolve FERNA PRIMERA ORANGE POWDER COLOR in milk and add to dry ingredients. Beat until well incorporated.
2. Prepare muffin pans or puto molds greased with FERNA BUTTINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE. Pour the mixture into the puto molds, top with strips of cheese and steam for 30-40 minutes.
