FERNA BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP SOFTIES


Ingredients Quantity
Banana, medium lakatan 1 piece
All purpose flour 1 1/4 cups
FERNA BAKING POWDER 1 tsp.
FERNA IODIZED SALT 1/2 tsp.
FERNA BUTINA BUTTER SUBSTITTUTE 1/3 cup
White sugar 1/3 cup
Brown sugar 1/3 cup
Fresh egg, large 1 piece
FERNA VANILLA POWDER Pinch
Milk chocolate chips 1 cup


PROCEDURE
1. Preheat oven at 3750F. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
2. Peel banana and place in a small bowl. Mash the banana with fork. Set aside.
3. Combine flour, FERNNA BAKING POWDER, FERNA VANILLA POWDER and FERNA IODIZED SALT and sift three times.
4. Cream FERNA BUTTINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy, scraping down side of the bowl once. Beat in banana and egg, scraping down side of the bowl once. Add flour mixture, beat at low speed until well blended then scraping down side of the bowl once.
5. Stir in chips with spatula. (Dough will be soft).
6. Using ice cream scooper #26, drop dough 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Note: in case ice cream scooper #26 is not available, use teaspoon to drop the dough.
7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cookies cool in a few minutes. Remove cookies with spatula to wire racks, cool completely.
8. Store in airtight container.
