FERNA BUTTERCREAM ICING

Ingredients Quantity
Powdered sugar 2lbs.
Shortening 2 cups
Water 1/3 cup
FERNA IODIZED SALT 1/4 tsp.
FERNA VANILLA POWDER 1/4 tsp.

PROCEDURE
Mix sugar, water, 25% of shortening, salt and FERNA VANILLA POWDER about 5 minutes at low speed. Scrape down and mix for 3-5 minutes at 2nd speed.

NOTE
It maybe necessary to increase or decrease the amount of water in the recipe depending on the relative temperature and humidity. Remember the icing should be firm enough but comfortable to use.
