FERNA VANILLA FRITO

| All-purpose flour |

| Cold butter |

| FERNA IODIZED SALT |
1/4 tsp. |
| FERNA VANILLA POWDER |
Pinch |
| FERNA BAKING POWDER |
1/4 tsp. |
| Hot water |
10-12 tbsps. |
| Cooking oil |
2 cups |
| Sugar |
1 cup |
| Ground cinnamon |
1 tsp. |
PROCEDURE
1. Sift flour, FERNA BAKING POWDER and FERNA
IODIZED SALT 3X. Transfer in a bowl.
2. Add butter and incorporate it into the flour
using your fingers, at the same time adding
hot water little by little until it forms into
a ball that can be rolled. (Texture of a soft
cookie dough or an ear lobe).
3. Take a golf ball size pieces and with a rolling
pin form circles like the thickness of a thin
tortilla.
4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and deep fry
the flatten balls until golden.
5. Drain a little after cooking. While still
hot dredge each one in the cinnamon sugar.
