FERNA HOPIA BABOY

PABALAT

Ingredients Quantity
Bread flour 2 ¾ cups
White sugar 1/3 cup
Oil 1/3 cup
Water ½ cup
FERNA BUTINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE ¾ cup

PROCEDURE
1. Combine all ingredients.
2. Knead until a good dough is formed.

PALABO

Ingredients Quantity
Shortening ½ cup
Corn starch Corn starch
3rd class flour 1/3 cup

PROCEDURE
1. Combine all ingredients.
2. Mix well.



PALAMAN


Ingredients Quantity
Brown Sugar 1 ½ cups
3rd class flour 4 ¼ cups
Onion 2 pcs.
Oil 1 cup
FERNA IODIZED SALT ½ tsp
FERNA VETSIN ½ tsp
Evaporated milk 1 ¼ cups

PROCEDURE
1. Sauté onion in oil. Season with FERNA IODIZED SALT and FERNA VETSIN. Set aside
2. In a bowl, combine third class flour, brown sugar, and evaporated milk. Add cooked onion. Mix well.
3. Form into a baston and cut into 25-g portions. Set aside.

TO ASSEMBLE
1. Flatten the PABALAT and put PALABO at the center. Roll and form into a ball.
2. Form the dough into a baston. Cut into 10-g portions.
3. Flatten each dough and place the prepared PALAMAN at the center then form into a ball. Press to flatten the dough.
4. Place the prepared hopia on a greased cookie sheet and brush with egg yolk.
5. Bake at 400°F for at least 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
