FERNA FRIED BREAD

Ingredients Quantity
EAGLE INSTANT DRY YEAST 2 ½ tsps.
Granulated sugar ½ cup
All-purpose flour, sifted 7 cups
FERNA IODIZED SALT 1 ½ tsps.
FERNA VANILLA POWDER 1 tsp.
FERNA EGG YELLOW POWDER COLOR ? tsp.
FERNA MASINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE ¼ cup
Fresh milk 2 cups
Eggs, large 2 pcs.
Confectioner's sugar for dusting for dusting
Oil for frying

PROCEDURE
1. Toss together all dry ingredients. Add FERNA MASINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE, fresh milk and eggs. Mix well.
2. Knead at low to medium speed until elastic, about 10 minutes. Transfer to an oiled bowl. Cover with plastic wrap then allow to rise for an hour or until double in bulk.
3. Flatten to a 12"x12"x1/4" square. Cut into desired size. Allow to proof for 40-45 minutes.
4. Heat oil to 370-375°F. Fry dough until golden brown. Drain in paper towels. Dust generously with confectioner's sugar.
