FERNA BRAIDED CHEESE ROLLS

 

Ingredients Quantity
EAGLE INSTANT DRY YEAST 2 tbsps.
Refined sugar 1 tbsp.
Water, lukewarm 1 cup
FERNA IODIZED SALT 2 tsps.
Refined sugar 1/4 cup
FERNA EGG YELLOW POWDER COLOR 1/8-1/4 tsp.
Egg yolks 7 pcs.
Corn or vegetable oil 3 tbsps.
Bread flour 450-500 grams
FERNA PRIMERA CHEESE FLAVOR 1 1/8 tsps.
Egg wash for glazing  
FERNA MASINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE, for brushing  


PROCEDURE:
1. Disperse yeast in lukewarm water. Add sugar, whisk to dissolve. Allow to ferment for 5-10 minutes.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients, knead well. Ferment until double, for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
3. Braid as desired. Proof until double.
4. Brush lightly with egg wash.
5. Bake at a pre-heated 375-400°F oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan.
6. Brush with FERNA MASINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE.
