FERNA FUDGY BUTTERSCOTCH BARS

| FERNA LIQUID GLUCOSE |

| FERNA VANILLA POWDER |

| FERNA IODIZED SALT |

| All purpose flour |

| Cashew nuts, chopped |

PROCEDURE
1. Preheat oven to 3500F. Grease a 15 x 10 x
1-inch baking pan, line with greaseproof paper
or parchment paper.
2. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine chocolate
chips, 1/4 of FERNA BUTTINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE
and condensed milk. With constant stirring,
cook over low heat until chocolate is melted
and mixture is smooth. Set aside.
3. In another saucepan, combine 1 cup FERNA
BUTTINA BUTTER SUBSTITUTE and FERNA LIQUID GLUCOSE
over low heat. Add brown sugar and eggs. Blend
well.
4. Add all the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
5. Spread half of the batter onto prepared baking
pan then spread chocolate mixture on top. Drop
the remaining batter by teaspoonfuls over chocolate
mixture. With the tip of a knife, swirl batter
slightly to create a marbled effect.
6. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until light
golden brown and center is set.
Cool for 5 minutes then turn the pan upside
down. Cool for 1 hour or until completely cooled.
Cut into bars.
