FERNA CHOCO ORANGE SCOTCH BARS

| Cashew nuts, chopped |

| FERNA ORANGE POWDER COLOR |

PROCEDURE
1. Preheat oven to
350?F. Grease 9 x 13 x 1-inch baking pan lined
with greaseproof or parchment paper. In medium
saucepan, combine chocolate chips, 1/4 cup butter
and condensed milk. Cook over low heat until
chocolate is melted and mixture, stirring constantly.
Set aside.
2. In medium saucepan, melt 3/4 cup butter and
FERNA LIQUID GLUCOSE over low heat. Remove from
heat. Add brown sugar and eggs. Blend well.
3. Add all remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Spread the first half of batter in prepared
baking pan. Then spread the chocolate mixture.
Drop the remaining batter by teaspoonfuls over
chocolate mixture. With tip of knife, swirl
slightly to marble mixture.
4. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until light
golden brown and center is set. Cool for 5 minutes
and turn the pan upside down. Cool again, for
1 hour or until completely cooled. Cut into
bars.
Yield: 48 slices
